This event was first initiated by the influential comics theorist, Scott McCloud and has grown to become a annual international event. The challenge is to create a finished 24-page comic in a 24-hour period. Thirteen brave students and two tutors took part, beginning their marathon at noon on Saturday. The host for the event was Moskvich Cultural Centre, and equipped only with pens, pencils, paper, fruit, cakes and coffee. By mid-day Sunday, exhausted but happy, the group emerged with their finished comics. Congratulations to all those who took part in this epic feat of endurance and creativity!
The School wants to thank Moskvich Cultural Centre for kindly allowing the students to use their facilities for this event.
