December 17th marks the opening of Roland DG’s first Academy in Russia. Located at the very heart of Moscow’s creative center, British Higher School of Art and Design was the obvious partner for Roland DG’s new Russian Academy.


Undertaken as part of the course’s "live industry" projects, BA (Hons) Fashion 2nd year students were challenged to conceptualize, design and produce a capsule collection of garment prototypes inspired by the philosophy and brand values of JNBY.


For BA Illustration students the academic year began with work on an interesting task, proposed by "Masterskaya" theater and club.


Garage Centre for Contemporary Culture recently ran a competition for a grant, in support of young Russian Artists and named the winners, one of whom is BHSAD Fine Art student Marina Androsovich!


The results of two large student projects with real clients were summed up. Three 2nd year BA Graphic Design students became winners.


October 28th, graduates of the russian Fashion Design CPD course 2013 will show their collections at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia - the main event in the fashion industry in Russia and Eastern Europe.


Late September, the Pentawards - one of the most authoritative international competitions in packaging - was held in Barcelona, in which winning is as prestigious as it is difficult.

The Grand Graduation Ceremony 2013 was held at the Digital October Center on September 7th. This year, more than 400 diplomas were given to the graduates of various courses of the British and Russian educational programmes at BHSAD.


On September 4th as part of Vogue Fashion's Night Out the British Higher School of Art and Design will present a photo exhibition “Fashion + Subculture” at the 4th floor of the TSUM Central Department Store. The exhibition will include 19 creative projects by the students of the Fashion Styling course, united by a common stylistic direction.


The Inventory Exhibition hosting works by the BHSAD students opened on August 3rd at the Golovins' Mansion at Chistiye Ponds in Moscow. The main purpose of the exhibition was to show the transformation of the old manor through 200 years, and to attract the attention of the visitors to the architectural monuments of old Moscow.


In September the British Higher School of Art and Design launched a new undegraduate programme BA Photography – the first and only programme in Russia to prepare bachelors in photography. We talked to the Course Director David Kinney on what will students learn during the course, which qualities should a modern photographer possess and if there is a demand for professional photograpers on the market today.


The latest important victories were achieved by our students at the D&AD Student Awards international competition run by Art Directors Club UK. D&AD Award is considered to be an "Oscar" for people working in the creative industries.


The fourth annual show of diploma collections made by the CPD Fashion Design students was hosted on July 5th. Fashion Degree Show attracts fashion and design professionals and explores new talents in the world of fashion business.


The End of Year exhibition of student works took place from 15th to 18th of June in the ARTPLAY Large Exhibition Hall. The exhibition presented works by students and graduates of the validated UK undergraduate programmes taught in Moscow, including: Graphic Design, Illustration, Fashion Design, Product Design, Interior Architecture and Design and Fine Art.


Graduates of BA Fashion were invited to London to participate in the Graduate Fashion Press Show held annually by the University of Hertfordshire. The show took place on June 13 at The Yard Shoreditch, East London and aims to support graduates and provide a platform to promote new creative talent and to help bridge the gap between graduation and employment.


The largest annual exhibition in Russia, of work by students of the British Higher School of Art and Design will take place at ARTPLAY Design Centre from June 15 to June 18 2013. The large-scale display will be presented in the Large Exhibition Hall at ARTPLAY Design Centre.


In September the British Higher School of Art and Design launches a new British higher education programme BA (Hons) Photography – the first and only programme in Russia to prepare bachelors in photography. The programme is accredited by the University of Hertfordshire.


More than 100 BHSAD students and 5 tutors explored the city`s cultural life for a week. Rich in diverse architecture, Berlin presents more than 400 museums and galleries and bears the status of Europe`s art capital by right.


BHSAD students took part in a competition to design a new merchandise line branded RESPUBLICA* PACK. The competition resulted in 25 design projects, selected for the production line launch.
